The farm
About us
We are a family owned and operated farm. Located in the heart of Brock we have a 100 acre farm, that we share with our animals; horses, sheep and chickens. With the Valais sheep being one of the main source of business along with our produce and other farm products
We pride our selves on our foundation ewes, they are all stunning Scottish black face ewes. Only a few flocks are available in Ontario and are known for the best foundation ewes for the Valais breed up program. Please ensure you research the breed, there are many articles on the internet as the Valais continue to grow in popularity. The Valais originated from the Swiss Alps and now being introduced into other parts of the globe. Contact us with any questions we are always happy to talk sheep.
We are constantly trying to provide the best genetics in our flock to pass on to our lambs. This years no different with the addition of our pure bred Valais Black nose ram named Justice born from Embryo transfer and our additional F1s ewes. One of which comes from the US and is introducing new genetics into Canada for the breed up program!
Who are we and Why we do it
Growing up in the hill side of Wales, I have always loved sheep. So when the opportunity to introduce this amazing sheep breed to Canada we jumped at the chance to be some of the first with this breed. Trying to constantly grow our family farm, the Valais have made a great addition. We want to work with the Valais Black nose community to continue to build relationships around the country to strengthen the popularity of this great sheep breed in Canada. Along with our other farm business we try to provide our great community with local produce and farm products.
